Hi I'm Patrick Meng: Biomedical Engineer, Software Developer, and a Pleasure to Have in Class

While the economy recovers, I'm available for in-person tutoring as a side gig.

I'm back in my hometown of Broadview Heights. I enjoyed my time at BBH High School as a kid, and I had a great time tutoring my classmates as a volunteer activity.

I scored a 34 ACT, 1530 SAT, AP Scholar with Distinction for the 13 AP classes I took, and was ranked #19 in my high school class for GPA, and attended Vanderbilt University.

However, while I take some classes and apply to jobs, I'd love to take a break and help you have a smooth college experience, now that I've seen it all firsthand.

My goal is for my guidance to be relatable, and valuable. And if you don't think so, its free. Click below to learn more:

*A pleasure to have in class was determined by the most common feedback received on my report cards when I was young^

^This feedback is the default option when no issues need to be addressed, and I shall disclose that it may or may not represent the actual opinion of some or all of my teachers.

Please note that if you are still reading this, the intention of this text was to be a lighthearted joke. If you are reading much more into it, don't. If it was just a joke, why add it? Well, the purpose was to insert a little bit of humor into my portfolio website, which can be a little dull when its just a straight list of accomplishments and qualifications. The secondary purpose was to highlight that I have had some fairly impressive academic achievements, and I did often leave positive impressions on those that have taught me, due to the enthusiasm and engagement I often brought to most classes I have attended. I apologize if you are still reading and your time is being wasted second by second, it's typically bad form to explain jokes, but this is here as a "legal" protection against those that might need humor explained, as not every joke is understood by every audience. I hope you appreciated the clarity if you actually needed assistance, and if you did not, apology for wasting your time and making the text here intentionally difficult to read. You could have copied and pasted it into a text editor and manually changed the text size. Perhaps I should have led with that advice.
